About NATAN

National Accessible Transportation Accelerator Network, or NATAN, aims to connect anyone who cares about accessible transportation with resources and best practices. NATAN also invites members to share what they’ve learned about accessible transportation so that we can disseminate strategies to NATAN and beyond. Anyone who cares about accessible transportation means anyone – here’s a sample of our cross-representation:

  • Transportation users, stakeholders, and organizations that serve them
  • Local, state, and national advocates
  • Local and state government officials
  • Transportation planners, developers, and designers
  • Vehicle manufacturers
  • Website and app developers
  • And others!

Why join?

As a nationwide network, NATAN presents a unique opportunity to connect with transportation experts and advocates across the country and across sectors working together to advance the availability of accessible transportation. Together, we can make the vision of accessible transportation a reality. In the future, we will host trainings that highlight tools, strategies, and research regarding accessible transportation specifically for members, network-focused events, and a collaboration platform for members to connect.
