Forum on Global Elder Abuse and Its Prevention
You are invited to join the Institute of Medicine for its two-day public workshop on Global Elder Abuse and Its Prevention. This workshop will explore the burden of elder abuse around the world, focusing on its impacts on individuals, families, communities, and societies. Promising innovative approaches to elder abuse prevention will be illuminated, as well as opportunities for cross-sector collaboration.
Workshop Dates: April 17 and 18, 2013
The workshop will be held at the Keck Center of the National Academies, 500 Fifth Street, NW, in Washington, DC, and is free and open to the public. However, space is limited.
