Disability Scoop (9/27, Diament) reports that a bipartisan group of senators “are expressing concern over persistent problems with accessibility on government websites.” They are “calling out the federal government for failing to do enough to make information and services accessible to people with disabilities.” According to the group, “under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the government is supposed to ensure that its electronic and information technology – including websites – are accessible.” However, “compliance efforts are severely lagging.”
