Elder Law Expert Advises on Planning for Retirement

March 2, 2018

USA Today (3/2, Powell, 9.51M) reported on how older Americans should plan for retirement, featuring advice from an elder law expert who recommended that as someone ages and the threat of cognitive decline looms, people should consider “searching for and retaining a certified elder law attorney who can draft the appropriate documents” to specify power of attorney, among other directives. The expert also discussed the need to seek assistance in determining housing needs and financing, among other concerns.
