Florida Nursing Home Where 12 Died Loses License.

The AP (1/7) reports the state of Florida has revoked the license of Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills, the nursing home in Florida where 12 died after hurricane Irma in 2017. Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration said the facility “created an unsafe environment” after it failed to evacuate residents from the building that was experiencing rising temperatures due to lost air conditioning functionality in the storm.
