Judge Sentences Chiropractor To 30 Months In Prison For Role In Medicare Fraud Scheme.

The San Jose (CA) Mercury News (2/4, Rokos) reports US District Judge David O. Carter on Feb. 4 sentenced chiropractor David Y. Kim “to 30 months in prison for his role in a Medicare fraud scheme that also resulted in guilty pleas from two Buena Park residents and a Sylmar man.” Carter also “ordered Kim to pay $690,519 in restitution to Medicare.” The article mentions that Kim at one point “was placed on the Department of Health and Human Services most wanted list.”
