Lawsuit Alleges Pennsylvania Students With Autism Were Denied Educations With Schools Shut Down.

The Inquirer (PA) (5/19, Graham) reports a class-action lawsuit alleges that Pennsylvania students with autism are illegally being denied an education during the state shutdown. The plaintiffs argue that Gov. Tom Wolf (D) did not include as “life-sustaining” services providing in-person education to children “for whom online instruction and services are ineffective,” including nonverbal and partially verbal children with autism.
