Maine College, Healthcare Association Starting New Program To Train More Nurses For Aging Population.

The AP (11/29) reports “Maine College of Health Professions is starting a new program for licensed practical nurses in conjunction with the Maine Health Care Association” The program aims “to train more nurses to help with the state’s aging population” and address “an educational void in Maine,” while at the same time “providing a new way for direct care workers to advance in their careers.”
