Opinion: ABLE Age Adjustment Act Would Accelerate Progress For Americans With Disabilities.

National Association of State Treasurers President Deborah Goldberg writes in the “Congress Blog” of The Hill (2/9) that the passage of the Achieving a Better Life Experience (ABLE) Act into law “was a major step forward for” many Americans with disabilities. Goldberg says, “We have the chance to expand this legislation to include a much larger group of our disabled Americans” with the ABLE Age Adjustment Act, which “seeks to build upon the law’s primary success, and accelerate the progress achieved over the next five years.”
