ACL’s Office of Nutrition and Health Promotion Programs is seeking reviewers for the following grant reviews:
- 2023 Innovations in Nutrition Programs and Services – Research (HHS-2023-ACL-AOA-INNU-0007)
- 2023 Innovations in Nutrition Programs and Services – Replication (HHS-2023-ACL-AOA-INNU-0008)
Reviewers should have documented expertise in some or all of the following areas:
- Nutrition and healthy aging
- Nutrition education
- Public health nutrition
- Senior meal programs
- Translational research methods
Reviewers may be from state agencies, community-based aging service organizations, tribes or tribal organizations, research/academia, health care organizations, or other entities interested in the health and well-being of older adults.
Reviewers will be responsible for:
- Completing a mandatory one-hour training webinar preliminarily scheduled for February 8, 2023, at 1 PM ET for Research grants and at 3 PM ET for Replication grants. A recording will be available for those unable to participate during the scheduled time.
- Independently reviewing and scoring 3-5 grant applications between February 8 and February 23, 2023.
- Participating in a teleconference with other reviewers to discuss application reviews. This teleconference is anticipated to take place between February 27 and March 1, 2023.
- Submitting final scores and comments by the designated deadline.
Non-federal reviewers will receive nominal compensation for completing the tasks above.
