The HCBS Business Acumen Center presents a webinar on Thursday, June 20 at 12:30 - 1:30 pm ET.
Register for the webinar.
When developing strategic and operational plans, the first priority for many disability community-based organizations (CBOs) is to stabilize their operations. To improve or adjust to an evolving environment, CBOs may need to change who they work with or how they deliver services. This means building the essential infrastructure and supports that an organization needs to thrive. Specifically, it may result in an intentional focus on staff; a change in administration practices such as documentation and billing processes; or compliance with contractual expectations, rules, or regulations.
Join us on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 12:30 – 1:30 PM Eastern as Chip Dodd, President and CEO of Support Services of Virginia, Inc, (SSVA) and Laura Vegas, MCO Business Acumen Director at the National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services (NASDDDS) discuss strategies and resources disability organizations can use to stabilize their organizations through turbulent times.
Learning objectives:
- Understand efforts CBOs can make to stabilize their workforce;
- Understand how CBOs can monitor their programs to enhance business process efficiency; amd
- Understand how the NCI Staff Stability Survey can be used to evaluate the stability and characteristics of the direct support professional workforce.
