Now Accepting Applications for the Network Operations Learning Collaborative

November 21, 2019

Applications are due Friday, December 20, at 9:00 p.m. ET.

The Aging and Disability Business Institute at the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a), with support from the Administration for Community Living, is announcing a call for applications for a new learning collaborative: the Network Operations Learning Collaborative (NetOps LC).

The call for applications is targeted for not-for-profit community-based integrated networks with special attention for developing and enhancing network lead entities. Applicants have the opportunity to participate in a learning collaborative focused on developing the knowledge and skills to build the operations and sustainability of their network for delivery of home and community-based services and supports in contract with health care entities.

A key factor in developing productive relationships with health care organizations is the alignment of collaborative networks among community-based organizations (CBOs). Health plans and payers benefit immensely from working with networks of CBOs through their ability to cover geographic scope and offer a single point of accountability. This effort is intended to support growth of networks of community-based organizations within and across states so our collective efforts can strengthen and modernize the nationwide network which will be essential to meeting the needs of the people we serve.

The Network Operations Learning Collaborative (NetOps LC) will provide up to 10 networks with targeted technical assistance to network lead entities, a peer learning network and a platform to share learnings. The key outcomes of participation in the NetOps LC include: increased knowledge of business requirements to operate a network; increased knowledge of legal structures, requirements, and risks for network lead entities/organizations and members; and the development of an operations action plan to move your network forward.
