The Elder Justice Coordinating Council (EJCC) brings together leaders from across the federal government to address issues of elder justice nationally. Council members include the leaders of federal departments, agencies, and entities administering programs related to abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation.
The EJCC will host its final meeting of the year on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 9:30am to 12pm ET in Washington DC. The meeting will include updates from federal agencies and a presentation on promoting elder justice in rural communities by Dr. Jason Burnett of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
