Social isolation and loneliness are key risk factors for fraud and exploitation. Learn about this important topic — and resources available to address it — by joining ACL's Commit to Connect webinar. This webinar will highlight the annual Eldercare Locator Home for the Holidays campaign, which this year focuses on avoiding financial scams.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and National Center on Elder Abuse will also share information on detecting common scams and highlight key resources on staying connected and safe from financial exploitation. Area Agency 3, an area agency on aging based in Lima, OH, will share how they are using art and music to promote social connection and reduce romance scams in their community.
