The National Council on Aging (NCOA) and Aging and Disability Business Institute at the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) announced a call for applications for community-based organizations (CBOs) and networks to participate in a new learning collaborative focused on the knowledge and skills needed to successfully pursue partnerships and contracts with Medicare Advantage (MA) plans for home- and community-based services and supports.
The Medicare Advantage Learning Collaborative (MALC) will provide up to 10 organizations or networks with targeted technical assistance, a peer learning network, and a platform to share learnings. The key outcomes of participation in the MALC will be a customizable value proposition to present to a Medicare Advantage plan when entering into partnership negotiations, and the development of tools that can assist the larger field of CBOs in contracting with MA plans.
