The Indiana Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) State Partnership Program is holding a series of webinars about resource facilitation, which is a service that provides a guide to help individuals, their families, and other supporters navigate the many possible public and private resources available.
Resource facilitation is frequently used in supporting individuals with TBI, but can be applied in other contexts. It is a combination of information and referral practices, and case management for guiding consumers on service and support options. The goal of the webinars are to expand capacity for others to provide resource facilitation, and to improve tracking and measurement of this process.
The second webinar is "Funding Resource Facilitation" on Tuesday, June 25, at 11 am - 12 pm ET.
Additional webinars will cover measurement of economic impact & healthcare utilization for resource facilitation, community collaborations / building partnerships in resource facilitation, and results from American Congress of Rehabilitation Survey of Resource Facilitation.
