The Elder Justice Coordinating Council (EJCC) brings together leaders from across the federal government to address issues of elder justice nationally. Council members include the leaders of federal departments, agencies, and entities administering programs related to abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation.
The EJCC's next meeting take place virtually on June 10. The meeting will focus on scams, fraud, and the increased risk of abuse due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the physical distancing of at-risk populations.
The meeting will feature presentations from elder justice experts including:
- Gary Mottola, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority
- Emma Fletcher, Federal Trade Commission
- Jilenne Gunther, AARP BankSafe Initiative
