Cliff Poetz is a long-time leader in the movement toward self-advocacy and community living. He testified before Congress prior to the ADA passing, and he continues to work and write for the Institute on Community Integration at the University of Minnesota. He says younger people have more opportunities today than ever before, and he urges people with disabilities to take advantage of their right to free speech and their right to vote.
