Join ACL's National Caregiver Support Collaborative (NCSC) for a webinar highlighting innovative practices to support family caregivers in maintaining financial stability and workplace security. NCSC offers resources and technical assistance to aging network organizations and key partners, including tribal and kinship caregiver support networks.
This webinar will highlight insights from the University of Southern California (USC) — an NCSC grantee — based on their recent environmental scan of resources and tools for promoting financial and workplace security of family caregivers. USC will be joined by North Central Ohio’s District 5 Area Agency on Aging (AAA) to share their experience partnering with employers and their community to address gaps in caregiver support.
Attendees will learn about strategies and tools for addressing the unique workplace and financial challenges faced by family caregivers.
Featured speakers
- Donna Benton, PhD, Director, USC Family Caregiver Support Center; Research Associate Professor, USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology
- Duana Patton, MBA, CEO, Ohio District 5 AAA
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a question-and-answer session with USC and the Ohio AAA. ASL and CART services will be provided. Registration is required.

Funded by the Older Americans Act (OAA), the National Caregiver Support Collaborative’s primary goal is to achieve greater recognition, support, and inclusion of the family caregivers served by the OAA National Family Caregiver Support Program (OAA Title III-E) and Native American Caregiver Support Program (OAA Title VI-C). The NCSC represents the first national-scale capacity building effort for these programs since 2000 and is designed to amplify and support their operational and programmatic needs through the delivery of technical assistance, collaboration, and coordination with others working to address shared goals.
