More than 63 million family caregivers provide most of the support that makes it possible for older adults and people with disabilities to live in the community. The NCSC is a multifaceted initiative that strengthens the aging and disability network's capacity to assess caregiver needs, provide supportive services, collect data, and advance the well being of caregivers and their care recipients. Spotlight: Using Technology to Strengthen Caregiver Navigation and Support
Technology and emerging tools, including artificial intelligence, offer new ways to support family caregivers and the aging network. NCSC is highlighting resources and opportunities to explore how technology can expand access to information, strengthen services, and help caregivers more easily find, understand, and connect to supports. When paired with trusted human guidance, technology can reduce barriers to accessing timely, relevant resources.
