Building our capacity to support family, kinship, and tribal caregivers

More than 53 million family caregivers provide most of the support that makes it possible for older adults and people with disabilities to live in the community. The National Caregiver Support Collaborative (NCSC) is a multifaceted initiative to increase the recognition, support, and inclusion of family, kin, and tribal caregivers across the country, resulting in measurable improvements in the capacity of the network to assess caregiver needs, provide supportive services, collect data, and — most importantly — support the well-being of caregivers and the people receiving care.
