Peer-Learning Collaboratives

The DCW Strategies Center offered time-limited, results-driven, and topically focused working groups — known as Peer Learning Collaboratives (PLCs) — for states committed to strengthening the direct care workforce. The PLCs met monthly in virtual sessions centered on group learning and information sharing. In addition, each participating state received support from a subject matter expert to help achieve a specific policy or program-related milestone aligned with the PLC’s focus area.

The 2024 cohort of the PLC included the following 14 states:

  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Illinois
  • Kansas
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Maine
  • Michigan
  • Nevada
  • New Hampshire
  • Oregon
  • Utah
  • Vermont
  • Washington

The first cohort of the DCW Strategies Center State PLC ran through December 31, 2024.
