Supporting Older Adults at Risk of Suicide Through Nutrition Services
Georgia State University improved the identification and support of older adults facing elevated suicide risk and mental health distress, recognizing the links between these issues and malnutrition, chronic disease, and more. In collaboration with partners, the project found that nutrition services volunteers and providers can develop suicide intervention skills and provide life assisting suicide interventions to older adults.
