ACL is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for $750,000 over two years to improve the provision of Adult Protective Services by current Older Americans Act Title VI grantees.
The Tribal Adult Protective Services Demonstration is expected to fund five cooperative agreements of $150,000 to $200,000. The awards will assist tribes in:
- Identifying the prevalence of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of elders in their communities
- Identifying the gaps in prevention of and response to abuse, neglect, and exploitation
- Facilitating the development of multidisciplinary elder justice activities to prevent, respond to, or address abuse, neglect, and exploitation
Additionally, each awardee will collaborate with at least one ACL resource center and/or the aging network in its effort to improve gathering information and resources focusing on the field of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation in Indian Country.
ACL will host an informational webinar in relation to this NOFO on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET. The call will be recorded and made available to the public immediately following the call. You can join the call using this link or the dial-in information below:
