Celebrated every October, NDEAM is an opportunity to recognize the contributions of people with disabilities to our workplaces and economy. Led by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), NDEAM also showcases supportive, inclusive policies and practices that benefit workers and employers alike. This year's theme, Disability: Part of the Equity Equation, recognizes the important role that individuals with disabilities play in a diverse and inclusive American workforce.
ACL is committed to expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities. We fund programs that provide direct employment support services and advocate for policies and practices that prioritize competitive, integrated employment (CIE). We're also investing in research to increase knowledge about the benefits of employment of individuals with disabilities and to increase the availability of effective interventions to support employment.
