September 17, 2025

The National Council on Aging (NCOA) has published the 2025 National Falls Prevention Action Plan, a 10-year strategy to reduce falls among older Americans. The plan was developed by the ACL-funded National Falls Prevention Resource Center in collaboration with a steering committee of 13 leaders in falls prevention.

The plan outlines six goals to expand awareness, broaden funding, scale interventions, coordinate care, harness technology, and improve data collection and research.

Read NCOA’s press release to learn more about the Action Plan.
