May 16, 2023

Application deadline: Monday, July 10, 2023

The National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) at ACL has opened a new funding opportunity under the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects (DRRP) program.

The purpose of the DRRP program is to plan and conduct research, demonstration projects, trainings, and related activities (including international activities) to develop methods, procedures, and rehabilitation technology that maximize the full inclusion and integration into society, employment, independent living, family support, and economic and social self-sufficiency of individuals with disabilities.

Promoting Positive Employment Outcomes Among People with Disabilities Who Are Experiencing Long COVID

(HHS-2023-ACL-NIDILRR-DPEM-0000)

Under this particular DRRP priority, the grantees must conduct research toward the development — or development and testing — of interventions, supports, or accommodations that allow people with disabilities to manage or address long COVID symptoms to maintain good health and employment.
