New Resource: Research on Family Caregiving Support in the United States: A Strategic Research Plan

On January 10, 2019, the NIDILRR-funded Family Support Research and Training Center (FSRTC) held a special webinar hosted by Easter Seals on the Strategic Plan for Family Support Research, which was released last year in November. Dr. Sandra Magaña of University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Brian Grossman of University of Illinois at Chicago and Randa Abdelrahim, graduate student at University of Illinois at Chicago, presented on the years long process of developing the strategic plan and highlights of the plan.

Research on Family Caregiving Support in the United States: A Strategic Research Plan is the product of an iterative, multi-layered process involving multiple stakeholders including family caregivers, persons with disabilities, health and social welfare professionals, policymakers, and researchers.
