February is American Heart Month

The Administration for Community Living joins President Obama in recognizing American Heart Month.

Cardiovascular diseases, such as heart disease, stroke, and high blood pressure, are the leading killer of American women and men and often cause disability and other serious illnesses. ACL is pleased to be a partner in the Health and Human Services Million Hearts Initiative. The goal of this nationwide campaign is to prevent one million heart attacks and strokes by 2017.
