The program provides assistance for the urgent responses that are needed right before or after a disaster, as well as long-term recovery assistance that can take place years later. The program can help with funding for emergency assistance, debris removal, emergency protective measures, and the restoration of disaster-damaged facilities.

This is the first funding opportunity from the Digital Equity Act’s $1.25 billion Competitive Grant Program and is part of the “Internet for All” initiative, a key component of President Biden’s Investing in America agenda.

Join the ACL-funded National Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center (NADRC) to learn how cognitive stimulation therapy (CST) programs are helping people living with dementia.  ACL’s Alzheimer’s Disease Programs Initiative grantees are expanding their services by providing these small-group, evidenced-based programs. Through virtual and in-person sessions held over seven weeks, participants strengthen their retained cognitive abilities and decrease depressive symptoms, while gaining confidence and social connection and improving their well-being.
