Join ACL's National Caregiver Support Collaborative (NCSC) for a webinar highlighting innovative practices that effectively support family caregivers. NCSC offers resources and technical assistance to aging network organizations and key partners, including tribal and kinship caregiver support networks.
This webinar will showcase a conversation with Pima Council on Aging (PCOA), an Arizona area agency on aging dedicated to providing innovative services that meet the changing needs of the older adults they serve. During this session, attendees will learn about actionable steps that aging, kinship, and tribal network organizations can use to implement and enhance caregiver support initiatives, even with limited resources. Attendees will learn about:
- PCOA’s caregiver support services, including funding strategies, partnerships, and outreach
- Examples of innovative practices driving positive outcomes for caregivers
- Approaches to sustaining, refining, and growing initiatives to caregivers
Featured speakers
- Yadira Mosqueira, Director of PimaCare at Home, PCOA
- Deb Seng, Director of Caregiving and Community Initiatives, PCOA
- Harbhajan Khalsa, Director of Dementia Capable Southern Arizona, PCOA
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a question-and-answer session with PCOA about their experience implementing and sustaining programs to support family caregivers. ASL and CART services will be provided. Registration is required.

Funded by the Older Americans Act (OAA), the National Caregiver Support Collaborative’s primary goal is to achieve greater recognition, support, and inclusion of the family caregivers served by the Older Americans Act National Family Caregiver Support Program (OAA Title III-E) and Native American Caregiver Support Program (OAA Title VI-C). The NCSC represents the first national-scale capacity building effort for these programs since 2000 and is designed to amplify and support their operational and programmatic needs through the delivery of technical assistance, collaboration, and coordination with others working to address shared goals.
