ACL Seeks Grant Reviewers for Falls Prevention and Chronic Disease Self-Management Education (CDSME) Programs

ACL’s Office of Nutrition and Health Promotion Programs is seeking reviewers for the following grant reviews: 

Reviewers should have documented expertise in some or all of the following areas:

  • Healthy aging
  • Health promotion and disease prevention
  • Falls prevention programs and education
  • Chronic disease prevention and management
  • Integrated health care

Reviewers may include individuals from state agencies, community-based aging service organizations, tribes and tribal organizations, research or academic institutions, health care organizations, or other entities interested in the health and well-being of older adults and adults with disabilities. 

Reviewers will be responsible for:  

  • Completing a mandatory one-hour training webinar preliminarily scheduled for January 25, 2023, at 2 PM ET. A recording will be available for those unable to participate during the scheduled time.
  • Independently reviewing and scoring 4-6 grant applications between January 25 and February 8, 2023.
  • Participating in a teleconference with other reviewers to discuss application reviews. This teleconference is anticipated to take place between February 9 and February 14, 2023.
  • Submitting final scores and comments by the deadline.

Non-federal reviewers will receive nominal compensation for completing the tasks above.
