About the Center for Regional Operations (CRO) 

The Center for Regional Operations (CRO) is responsible for serving as liaisons to states, territories, and tribes and conducting day-to-day program management and operations regarding Older Americans Act (OAA) state and tribal grant programs, in collaboration with the Administration on Aging (AoA) and with other components of ACL. The CRO engages in activities and partnership opportunities with the HHS Regional Director within each of the designated HHS regions and with regional leaders of other HHS divisions and other federal agencies. The CRO also provides leadership in disaster and emergency coordination and communications within ACL and across the regions. 

ACL’s Regional Support Centers serve as ACL’s eyes, ears and liaisons at the regional and local levels across the 10 HHS regions, and with the 574 federally recognized tribes in the United States.
