This gathering recognizes the nation’s 63 million+ family caregiversand 5 million+ direct care workers,whose dedication helps people live independently in their homes and strengthens communities across the country. Not only do they provide essential care, but they also form the foundation of our long-term care system, helping people avoid costly institutional care, saving resources, and preserving independence. The event honors their invaluable contributions and highlights the ongoing need for investment in caregiver supports, training, and stress reduction.
