ACL's National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) is announcing a new grant award for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) National Network Collaborative Research Project. The planned project period for this grant is September 1, 2022 – August 31, 2027, with an estimated funding amount of $500,000 per year.

ACL has recently awarded the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (SCDDSN) a four-year Traumatic Brain Injury State Partnership Program (TBI SPP) grant from August 1, 2022, to July 31, 2026, totaling $800,000.

ACL is announcing a new grant award to develop a National Transportation Accessibility Center (NTAC). The grant of $485,000 over a one-year period has been awarded to the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA), which will be partnering with the UMass Boston Institute for Community Inclusion, USAging, and DJB Consulting. NTAC also will work closely with people who need or use transportation services, the transportation sector, and an array of national, state and local organizations throughout the country.
