The meeting will feature two panels that will explore the reauthorization of the Elder Justice Act and how legislation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has strengthened adult protective services programs around the country. The Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM) is a federal interagency council that coordinates funding and provides expertise on human services transportation for people with disabilities, older adults, and individuals of low income.

ACL, in partnership with the CDC, is pleased to announce the selection of 58 organizations for participation in the Community Care Hub National Learning Community (NLC). The organizations, representing 32 states, will engage in one of two learning tracks to bring together organizations serving as Community Care Hubs that are either in development or interested in expansion.

ACL’s National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) is developing its 2024-2028 Long-Range Plan and wants to hear from you. Mandated by Congress to develop a Long-Range Plan every five years, the agency aims to continue to be responsive to the needs of key stakeholders — especially people living with disabilities. Your input will help inform NIDILRR’s future funding priorities and strategic direction.
