Comment Opportunity: Human Trafficking Prevention Framework

June 2, 2023

Submissions due: June 9, 2023, 5:00 PM ET

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) invites you to comment on the draft Human Trafficking Prevention Framework.

The draft framework contains strategies and approaches to prevent human trafficking and its recurrence while increasing capacity to identify and reduce harm caused by human trafficking. The framework is informed by a public health approach and established concepts of violence prevention.

HHS will use public comments to update the framework as needed.

In December, Katherine Chon, the director of the Office on Trafficking in Persons at the Administration for Children & Families, wrote a blog post on the importance of accessibility in human trafficking prevention and response.
