ACL's National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) is announcing a new funding opportunity for the Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) Program on health and function among people with serious mental health conditions.

The purpose of the RRTC programs is to achieve the goals and improve the effectiveness of services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act through well-designed research, training, technical assistance, and dissemination activities in important topic areas as specified by NIDILRR. These activities are designed to benefit rehabilitation service providers, individuals with disabilities, family members, and other stakeholders.

The purpose of this particular RRTC is to conduct research, training, technical assistance, and related activities to contribute to positive health and function outcomes among people with serious mental health conditions. NIDILRR plans to make one grant under this opportunity. The grant will have a 60-month project period, with five 12-month budget periods.

Contact Donna.Gregory@acl.hhs.gov at NIDILRR if you have questions about this funding opportunity.

See Notice of Funding Opportunity: HHS-2025-ACL-NIDILRR-RTHF-0123, "Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Health and Function Among People with Serious Mental Health Conditions," posted January 10, 2025.
