ACL's "Grants to Enhance State Adult Protective Services" demonstration seeks to help address gaps and challenges in state APS systems through innovations and improvements in practice, services, data collection, and reporting.
For FY2020, we invite applications that seek to achieve:
- Improvements in the capacity of APS to serve and assist clients impacted by the opioid crisis, and
- Improvements in the state's ability to document and report to the National Adult Maltreatment Reporting System (NAMRS) case, client, and perpetrator data for opioid-related APS cases.
Grant recipients will receive between $700,000 and $1,000,000 over two years. Applications must be submitted by the state government offices that administer the state's adult protective services program. Applications are due June 16.
