The HHS Office of Minority Health will host a meeting of the COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force. This meeting is open to the public. ASL will be provided.

The COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force was established by Executive Order 13995, Ensuring an Equitable Pandemic Response and Recovery. The Task Force is charged with making recommendations to the President to eliminate health and social disparities that result in disproportionately higher rates of exposure, illness, hospitalization and death related to COVID-19, and for preventing such inequities in the future.

The purpose of this meeting is for the Task Force members to present, discuss, and vote on a slate of interim recommendations pertaining to equitable vaccine access and acceptance. Today's meeting includes a discussion about vaccine access for people with disabilities.
