Join NADRC for its webinar, "Emergency Response for People Living with Dementia and Their Caregivers: Preparing for Emergencies via Coordinated Efforts of First Responders and Local Aging Organizations."

The Middle Alabama Area Agency on Aging (AAA) and Pelham Fire Department have worked closely the last several years on innovations to produce better outcomes for AAA clients. During this webinar, they will share how these partnerships started, give examples of the innovative programs on which they have collaborated, and provide information on how to better prepare for a disaster before it happens. The knowledge gained in this webinar can assist organizations as they develop emergency planning materials for clients living with dementia. Additionally, the webinar will help organizations identify and implement practices to both prepare for and respond to disasters.

If you have questions, please contact Sari Shuman at sshuman@rti.org.

Funded by ACL, NADRC provides support to ACL and its grantees to implement evidence-based interventions and innovative practices that empower and assist caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
