New Funding Opportunity for Research and Training Center on Employment Policy and Health & Function of People with Psychiatric Disabilities

The National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) at ACL has opened two new funding opportunities for Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTCs) on Employment Policy and Health and Function of People with Psychiatric Disabilities. 

The purpose of the RRTC program, which are funded through the Disability and Rehabilitation Research Projects and Centers Program, is to achieve the goals of, and improve the effectiveness of, services authorized under the Rehabilitation Act through well-designed research, training, technical assistance, and dissemination activities in important topic areas as specified by NIDILRR. These activities are designed to benefit rehabilitation service providers, individuals with disabilities, family members, and other stakeholders.


RRTC on Employment Policy: The purpose of this particular RRTC is to conduct research, training, technical assistance, and related activities to contribute to new knowledge regarding the effect of public policies and programs on employment for people with disabilities.

RRTC on Health and Function of People with Psychiatric Disabilities:The purpose of this particular RRTC is to generate new knowledge that can be used to inform and shape evidence-based services, supports, and interventions that are intended to improve health outcomes of people with psychiatric disabilities.
