The Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) is a group-based preventative service that area agencies on aging, centers for independent living, community-based organizations (CBOs), community care hubs, and networks of CBOs can offer to Medicare beneficiaries at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.

MDPP has made several exciting updates in the 2024 Physician Fee Schedule (PFS) aimed at improving access to prediabetes care for underserved communities with a high prevalence of Type 2 diabetes and advancing health equity goals through distance learning.

USAging's Aging and Disability Business Institute is partnering with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to highlight these updates through a lunch and learn webinar. Everyone interested is invited to attend.
