NTIA announced the availability of nearly $1 billion to make awards under the Digital Equity Act Competitive Grant Program, which funds initiatives that ensure communities have access to devices and skills to fully participate in the digital world. Eligible applicants include entities that carry out workforce development programs, Native entities, nonprofits, community anchor institutions, and other organizations. The deadline for most applicants is September 23, 2024.
