The Social Security Administration and the Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy are seeking public input for Information on Potential Stay-at-Work/Return-to-Work Demonstration Projects. Through this research, they hope to identify effective strategies for supporting workers who want and are able to keep working while living with a disability.
The request asks for recommendations on:
- Early intervention strategies to be tested (for promoting labor force attachment, coordinating employment and health services, and supporting injured and ill workers in returning to and remaining at work); and
- Design of a potential demonstration.
Please view the Federal Register notice for more information. The notice includes questions for input and instructions for submitting responses.
Comments are due no later than October 30, 2017.
