Next week, the U.S. Departments of Labor and Transportation will host virtual celebrations of Disability Pride Month and the 32nd anniversary of the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Thursday, July 28, 2022, 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. ET
Featuring Labor Secretary Marty Walsh, Assistant Secretary for Disability Employment Policy Taryn Williams and other department leaders, the event will explore the Department of Labor’s efforts to deliver on the promise of the ADA through policies and programs for workers and job seekers with disabilities. CART captioning and ASL interpreter will be available.

Tuesday, July 26, 2022, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET
Featuring Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Deputy Secretary Polly Trottenberg, and other Department leaders, the event will include a presentation on the Department’s recently issued Air Passengers with Disabilities Bill of Rights as well as other exciting developments on transportation for people with disabilities.
