Join ACL, the State of California Community Access Division, the San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services, and the Marin Center for Independent Living for a webinar highlighting successful aging and disability collaborative initiatives. The examples provided are potentially replicable in your state.
There are many similarities in the services and supports older adults and people with disabilities need to live independently as they age, and increasingly, the aging and disability networks are working together at state and local levels to better support people aging with and into disabilities. Presenters will discuss how grassroots advocacy efforts have impacted state policies, programs, and initiatives, including the California Master Plan on Aging.
