Facilitating guided, person-centered conversations around employment can help people who use Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) make their own informed decisions about work. Such conversations help people and their circles of support discover employment possibilities and understand the options that exist. In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), this webinar co-hosted by the National Center on Advancing Person-Centered Practices and Systems (NCAPPS) and the State Employment Leadership Network (SELN) will highlight successful person-centered approaches and tools for discussing employment.
NCAPPS webinars include ASL interpretation, live English captions, and live Spanish interpreting. If you require any additional accommodations, please email Saska Rajcevic.
The National Center on Advancing Person-Centered Practices and Systems (NCAPPS) assists states agencies, tribes, and territories to advance person-centered thinking and practices to support people with disabilities and older adults with long-term service and support needs. NCAPPS is funded by the Administration for Community Living and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and administered by the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI). All NCAPPS webinars will be recorded and archived at ncapps.acl.gov/webinars.html.
