August 11, 2022

Thursday, August 11 | 3:00 - 4:00 PM ET

Join the webinar.

Join this unique Q&A event that brings together professionals from Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, North Carolina to answer your policy and implementation questions related to blending, braiding, and sequencing resources and funding. These best practice strategies support positive employment outcomes, and promote equity and inclusion for people with disabilities.

This event follows the LEAD Center’s popular March and June blending-, braiding-, and sequencing-related webinars, where scores of questions came in from participants. This Q&A event will provide a different format for learning.

The panels look forward to answering your questions on how to establish partnerships, secure organizational buy-in, establish formal MOUs and resource-sharing agreements, support customers, and more.

Questions to be addressed include:

  • Where does the vision to utilize multiple funding sources come from?
  • What are some examples of states and localities using interagency agreements to design collaborative resource leveraging processes?
  • How can states and localities intentionally partner with programs serving Native Americans?

The webinar features speakers from:

  • Colorado’s Office of Employment First, Office of Community Living, Health First Colorado, and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
  • North Carolina’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Department of Health and Human Services
  • Sonoran Center for Excellence in Disabilities, Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration, and Boboquivari Unified School District #40
  • Maryland’s State Workforce Development Board, Division of Rehabilitation Services, Employment Network (funded by the Behavioral Health Administration), and Anne Arundel County Workforce Development Corporation

This webinar is presented by the Office of Disability Employment Policy at the U.S. Department of Labor, along with federal partners at the Employment and Training Administration, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Administration for Community Living, the Rehabilitation Services Administration, the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, the Office of Special Education Programs, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the Social Security Administration.
