Join us for a virtual meeting of the RAISE Family Caregiving Advisory Council and Advisory Council to Support Grandparents Raising Grandchildren that will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, as required by the Recognize, Assist, Include, Support, and Engage (RAISE) Family Caregivers Act and the Supporting Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (SGRG) Act. The focus of this joint council meeting is the forthcoming update of the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers.

The meeting will be open to the public. Registration is not required to attend. The Zoom meeting link will be operational (live) five minutes prior to the meeting start time. Closed captioning will be available.

The councils are authorized by the RAISE Family Caregivers Act and the SGRG Act to provide recommendations to the Secretary of Health and Human Services on effective models of family caregiving and support to caregivers, as well as to improve coordination across federal government programs.
